Dr Danielle Harrop

Danielle is a general cardiologist with additional training in non-invasive cardiac imaging. She has special interests in cardiac risk assessment, valvular heart disease and heart failure. She performs echocardiograms, stress echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiograms and cardiac computed tomography (CT).

Danielle completed advanced cardiology training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane and subspecialty cardiac imaging training at Monash Medical Centre in Melbourne. 

Danielle also works as a cardiologist at Ipswich General Hospital and the Princess Alexandra Hospital, where she is undertaking research in cardiac care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients. Danielle is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland School of Medicine. She visits St Andrew’s Ipswich Private Hospital.
