Fees Information
For all outpatient services we require full payment on the day of the test. When making a booking you will be advised of the cost of the consultation or test(s) that your referring doctor has requested. To make the process of claiming easier we can lodge your claim electronically via Medicare online.
Please contact our reception regarding fees and charges. Doctors determine their own consultation fees. Bulk-billing rates may be available for some investigations. Concession rates are available to pensioners and health care card holders. Please discuss the fee charged with our receptionist staff if you have any queries.
For in-hospital services we have “no-gap” fees arrangements with most health funds.
Referrals
Please note that in order for a Medicare refund to be payable, a valid referral is required. Referrals from general practitioners are valid for 12 months and those from specialists are valid for 3 months only. If a referral is not current, Medicare will pay only a small portion of the Medicare rebate. If you are unsure about the status of your referral please contact us on (07) 3282 8333.
